CALL FORWARDING:

This feature means your phone can transfer incoming calls to another number of your choice.

To Forward Your Calls:

* Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.

* Dial *72

* Again, listen for the dial tone

* Now, dial the number where you wish your call forwarded.  (Speed calling codes may be used if you also have this feature).

* When someone answers at the forwarded number, the call forwarding is put into effect.  If there is no answer, or the line is busy, hang up and repeat the previous steps.  If you do this within two minutes, you will hear two beeps meaning your Call Forwarding feature is in effect.

Once you have activated Call Forwarding, the phone will make one short ring each time a call is forwarded.  However, you can still make out-going calls from this phone.

If you wish to change the number your calls are being transferred to, discontinue the first (see below), and redirect your calls using the above steps.

To Discontinue Call Forwarding:

* Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone

* Dial *73

Listen for two beeps. Call Forwarding is discontinued

CALL WAITING:

This feature will alert you when you have an incoming call while you are already on the line

Here's How Your Call Waiting Feature Alerts You:

* A beep tone tells you another call is waiting. Only you hear this tone.

* A second and final tone will be heard 10 seconds later if the waiting call remains unanswered.

To Answer the Second Call:

* Depress the switchhook/plunger for about one second to place your first call on hold.

* You will automatically be connected with the second caller

To Alternate the Second Call:

* By depressing the switchhook/plunger for about a second , you may alternate between calls.

* Each conversation is private and cannot be heard by the other caller

To Terminate Either Call:

* Hang up.  Your telephone will ring .

* When you answer it, you will be connected with another caller.

Cancel Call Waiting: This prevents a second call from breaking into your phone or computer line.

Cancel Call Waiting Before Calling...

* Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone

* Dial the deactivation code *70, and listen for the special dial tone.

* Now, dial the number you wish to call. When you disconnect your call, CALL WAITING is automatically reactivated

Ring Again: This feature monitors the busy line for up to 30 minutes and alerts you with a distinctive ring when the line is free

To Activate Ring Again...

* When you hear a busy tone, depress the switchhook for about one second.

* Listen for a special dial tone, then dial *66

* Listen for the confirmation tone (two short beeps), then hang up the phone.  RING AGAIN is now activated.

To Deactivate Ring Again...

* Pick up the handset and dial *86

* Listen for the confirmation tone (two short beeps), then hang up on the phone.  The RING AGAIN request is canceled. The request is also canceled if you do not pick up your phone within 12 to 30 seconds after hearing the special RING AGAIN signal (two short rings).

* The feature will automatically cancel itself if your line or the line of the person you are trying to reach is busy more than 30 minutes.

NOTE: RING AGAIN can be applied only to those 7 digit telephone numbers that are being served by the same local telephone company as yourself.
