CWC upgrade to 3G
2012/13 - Cordova Wireless is currently
upgrading their data service to 3G. During
this time, CWC customers might experience
short interruptions to their service
including dropped calls, problems with call
completion, late text messages and/or
voicemails, and "sim not recongnized"
messages. Rebooting your phone usually
solves this problem. Some phones might need
to have their sim cards removed and put back
in and then restarted. We apologize for any
inconvenience. If you have any questions,
please feel free to ask our staff by calling
424-2300.
Verify your
"Members of Record"
In preparation for our Annual Meeting on
March 22, 2013, we are asking the membership
to verify who in your household is a “Member
of Record” and thus are able to vote at the
annual
meeting. Please verify your
household/business voting membership by
calling our office at 424-2345. The name on
your statement does not necessarily
constitute the active voting member. Thank
you!
Coop Month

October is
Cooperative Month, and CTC is celebrating
with Free Pizza and homemade cookies every
Friday! You can also enter our Friday
drawing each week and enter to win a $50
gift certificate to any local Cordova
business. Cordova Electric Cooperative
will also be celebrating this month by
giving out free CFL lightbulbs. Stop
in to their office any day in October to
pick yours up and enter their drawing to win
$250 toward an energy-saving device!
Tax and Surcharge
Changes, 9/28/11
On your October 1,
2011 statement, you will notice adjustments
to the AK-USF and FUSC rates. The
Regulatory Commission of Alaska as changed
the AK-USF surcharge to 9.5%. This
surcharge is based on the touch-tone charge
on your statement. The FCC has
released a notice that the Federal Universal
Service Charge (FUSC) has increased for the
4th quarter to 15.3%. This is based on
the subline charge on your statement.

Unclaimed
or Uncashed Patronage Capital Checks
Patronage Capital checks have been paid out
for the year 1988. If you had phone service
during that year and have not received a
check, then you may have one waiting in our
office. We have many that were returned
because of improper addresses. Please call
our office if your name is listed so we can
update your address today.
Unclaimed Customer Credits
Cordova Telephone has closed accounts with
credit balances. Visit the Unclaimed
Customer Credits Page to see if your name is
on the list for unclaimed credit balances.
Annual
Membership Meeting
Cordova Telephone Cooperative holds its
membership meeting in March each year.

Lifeline Service:
The FCC requires every Lifeline customer to re-certify
their eligibility each year. If you do not
re-certify every year, you will be
disconnected from Lifeline service. Be
on the lookout for your recertification
paperwork and make sure to return it in a
timely manner. For assistance in
filling out your recertification paperwork,
